Original Research

Original Research articles report original findings from basic, clinical, epidemiological, or translational research relevant to physiotherapy, movement science, and mental health. These manuscripts should present clearly defined research questions, rigorous methodology, and results that contribute new knowledge to the field.

Word limit
Up to 4,000 words, excluding abstract, references, tables, figures, and figure legends.

Abstract
A structured abstract of up to 250 words must be provided and should include the following sections: Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusions.

Keywords
Provide up to six keywords immediately after the abstract. Keywords should be specific and preferably selected from MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) when applicable.

Summary Box
A Summary Box must be included immediately after the abstract, following the journal guidelines described in the Manuscript Preparation section.

Tables and Figures
A maximum of 8 tables and/or figures combined is permitted. Tables and figures must be cited in the text and numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals.

References
Up to 60 references are permitted.

Reporting Guidelines
Authors must follow internationally recognized reporting guidelines according to the study design. Examples include:

CONSORT — Randomized controlled trials
STROBE — Observational studies
SRQR — Qualitative research
SQUIRE — Quality improvement studies
STARD — Diagnostic accuracy studies

Authors are encouraged to consult the EQUATOR Network to identify the appropriate reporting guideline for their study.

Ethics Requirements
Studies involving human participants must comply with ethical standards and receive approval from an appropriate Research Ethics Committee or Institutional Review Board (IRB). Authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained when applicable. Detailed ethical requirements are described in the Author Guidelines section.

For clinical trials or interventional studies, authors must indicate the trial registration number and the name of the trial registry when applicable.
