Book reviews
This category includes critical reviews of books or publications relevant to the fields of physiotherapy in mental health, rehabilitation, movement sciences, or related disciplines.
Reviews should provide a thoughtful and well-grounded analysis of the book’s content, highlighting its main contributions, its scientific or clinical relevance, and its contribution to the development of the field.
Manuscript Specifications
Word limit
Up to 1,000 words.
Tables and Figures
Up to 2 tables and/or figures.
Authors
A maximum of 2 authors is permitted.
Summary Box
After the title, authors must include a Summary Box that highlights the main contribution of the book review.
This section should briefly address the following points:
• What knowledge does this book contribute?
• Why is this important for the field of physiotherapy and mental health?
The Summary Box must contain no more than five sentences and should not repeat information already developed in the main text.

The manuscript should include the following sections:

Summary Box
Keywords
Review text
References (when applicable)
Appendices (when applicable)
Content of the Review
The review may address, among others, the following aspects:
• The main ideas or arguments developed in the book.
• A critical analysis of the strengths and limitations of the work.
• The scientific rigor and theoretical foundation of the content.
• Innovation or relevant contributions to clinical practice, research, or education.
• Notable quotations or passages from the book (when appropriate).
• The contribution of the book to the development of the field of physiotherapy in mental health.
