Vol. 2 No. 2 (2025): Journal of Physiotherapy in Mental Health
This issue of the Journal of Physiotherapy in Mental Health brings together an editorial, a systematic review, a case report, and a perspective article that collectively reflect the growing scope and complexity of physiotherapy within mental health care. The contributions address key clinical and conceptual dimensions of contemporary practice, including the integration of neuromodulation and psychotherapy in anxiety spectrum disorders associated with primary otoneurological conditions, the embodiment of trauma through somatic symptom disorder, and strategic recommendations for advancing mental health physical therapy across clinical practice, policy, and payment systems.
Together, these works highlight the relevance of physiotherapy within interdisciplinary mental health frameworks and reinforce the profession’s commitment to evidence-based, person-centered, and biopsychosocially informed care across diverse clinical contexts.
